Erin Mary Griffin

Erin is a documentary filmmaker, who specializes in directing and producing social justice films based in peace & conflict zones. She graduated with a BBA in Business Entrepreneurial Management from TCU, and later focused management skills and art towards film production. At age 18, Erin was the university president of the Invisible Children chapter and helped raise awareness about child soldiers and fundraised to build schools in Northern Uganda. In 2009, she worked in Rwanda where she consulted small businesses, and participated in a reconciliation seminar for victims and perpetrators being released after the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. She later directed a short film on the topic called To Forgive. To support production, Erin worked at Google in San Francisco, Chicago and New York City, where she managed top advertising accounts. After leaving Google, she was the Global Impact Producer for the award winning documentary film Beyond Right & Wrong: Stories of Justice and Forgiveness, and came on after its completion to help launch the innovative film platform, and spread the film's impact around the world. Erin most recently was a tedxtalk speaker, and is producing a film about the former UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Sudan.
